It is somewhat daunting of a request, as i will have to better understand the entirety of my fellow healers specs and playing styles.

I have often found that I, a discipline priest, get placed on raid heals (pre 3.1 even worse) when I get into pugs. Hopefully soon people will begin to understand what “are you sure you want me on raid heals? im spec’d as a MT healer” really means =P.

Invaribly, he’ll assign himself (holy priest) to the tank and myself (the holy paladin) to raids, and wonder why I sit there angrily chanting “whack a mole, whack a mole!”

Knowing the strengths of other healing classes and specs is definitely a requirement.
