Looks like there is MORE news on 3.08 with a boatload of changes & bug fixes. So, time to recap the healing priest ones! Guardian Spirit: It is no longer possible for simultaneous killing blows to trigger the heal from this ability multiple times. Improved Holy Concentration: The tooltip has been rewritten to indicate that this talent reduces cast time rather than providing haste. Prayer of Mending: Will now only benefit from the healing talents of the priest who cast the original spell. Rapture: This talent will now correctly return mana for Power Word: Shield based on the caster’s mana pool instead of the target’s mana pool. 3.08 Incoming – Impact Forecast

3.08 did not hit today and we are now likely in the final days of PTR testing. Time to recap the impact to the Priest Community. I am not going to go over every little change that could possibly affect us, just highlight the ones that seem to have a bigger/unique impact to PVE Healing: Titansteel Guardian – Spellpower reduced to 457 (from 490) to match iLevel. Now could be the time to farm Nexus if you are considering crafting this mace, or if you haven’t found a replacement in Naxx. Levitate now castable on others. Add On Corner: Getting Things Healed

Time for another round of Add On Corner! This time a focus on a fantastic mod that helps with healing assignments. Getting Things Healed – is at it’s core, a healing assignment mod. It has the ability to have multiple phases, Disconnect Notifications, Whisper Assignments, Broadcast Assignments and more. GTH is available here. Here is a basic screenshot of the config window, accessible via /gth Sample Gothik (25 Man) Assignment Screen As you can see, the mod also scans the talent trees of your raid members and places an icon next to their name based on their spec. For example: Tulock, a Disc Priest, has the Penance icon next to his name, and I have the Circle of Healing icon next to my name. This makes doing assignments quite easy. …
