My friend posted this on our forum which allows Clique to heal when you click rather than when you release your mouse button (much like SnowfallKeyPress does for keybinds)…

Hey guys, for quite a while now I’ve wandered if it’s possible to alter clique so that the spell casts when the button is clicked, rather than when it is released. (Some may not have realised this is how the spell casting system works).

Heres how:

You simply alter the .lua files, it takes 30 seconds and makes a huge amount of difference with your casting accuracy, or atleast I think so!

Navigate to:

Interface\Addons\Clique, editing Clique.lua and CliqueOptions.lua, searching for instances of “AnyUp”, and replacing them with “AnyDown”.

Hope this is helpful to anyone who wanted to be able to do this on Clique

I have the WoW gaming mouse. I can say the extra keys on a mouse helps immensely. I'm shadow, so I can see the huge advantage for you healer types.

Having a extra keys let me set up keybinds for targeting macros, targetlasttarget/focus, ect. Which is important for us meter padding dps priests out there.

I love my Mouse. Between clique and the mouse, it's a highly effective set up for heroic raiding, where a kill or wipe can be dependent on your reaction speed.

However, many miss the greatest benefit of being able to play one handed:

Mouseover Macros on the mouse and/or Clique casting is a step up, but they still have one flaw – using the same hand/device for steering, selecting cast targets, and spell selection. This leaves the other hand doing little else but movement.
Ideally, the workload should be balanced between both hands. Since the mouse must be used for target selection and steering, this leaves movement and spell selection for the other hand.
If you're going to drop $$ for a good gaming mouse, then may I suggest the N52te gaming pad for your left hand. Using Mouseover macros for click casting and the dpad for movement balances the workload far better than a keyboard/mouse combo.

I've been using Clique forever, and I love it. I "found" two more buttons on my mouse with a recent patch. 6 more Clique casts! Yay!

The one problem I run into is my laptop has an extra key on the bottom row, throwing off my pinky. One of the many reasons I only do old world BS on my laptop.

Nice tip Derevka!
I do use Click as well, but I have a bunch of mouse over macros as well. Sometimes I don't find click doing what I want very fast... like shielding 2 penetrating cold target in those 3 sec. Well, actually less then 3 because you basically have like 2-global cooldown=1 sec.
But for fights where moving is mandatory I basically can't live without Click.Each profile (holy and disc) has up to 12 healing spells assigned plus... y, some offensive spells. Beying able to mind seer, mana burn, dispel, dot targets is great.
I don't use them all because sometimes I mix them with mouse over macros but I still love it.

@Jov it's pretty much he same. Though I like clique better since I can swap profiles and go from Holy to Disc set ups pretty quick.

I remain petrified of attempting click-to-cast healing. I'm so used to my mouseover macros instead.
