The party frames were ‘customizable’ in the old 3.3 ui with scripts and commands that weren’t accessible in the menu. These scripts would tweak both the positioning off and the buffs or debuffs you would see. Have you tried any of those tweaks yet? Undoubtly a part of them will become invalid, but who knows… Maybe it’s not a real addon we’ll need but merely an advanced config menu

You haven’t had to cast PoH a lot? I have (and it is not a regular part of my Wrath arsenal). It’s not perfect, because that time ends up killing my tank. 3 tries at dungeons at 80, no bosses down. My shields especially felt weak. I agree with your assesments-it’s actually reassuring to see someone of your caliber having a hard time, the beta forums are full of people claiming the dungeons are still super easy

I thought the purpose of the new talent trees was to make it so there were no clear cut choices. Everyone is going to look for whatever edge they can find to eek out that last few HPS but if we are not sure what talent is best isn’t that success for Blizz?

I’m not sure if I am a fan of the idea of being to mount everywhere. Besides the drake-fest in AHs, I have a feeling it is going to feel like BC in Shat, a complete desert with packs of flying groups high in the sky…

OT: I completely agree the Disc tree is bursting with crucial talents. There is no setup that doesn’t leave me missing one of the key disc abilities. Hopefully Bliz will pass over the Priest class soon, as every patch just worries me.

Overall, they are doable provided the pepole you have know what its like to do content that they haven’t seen before/strats exist. So many groups you’ll see people quit after a wipe but not talk about what caused it and how to fix it. Its very frustrating… we ARENT HERE FOR LOOT AND A RACE TO 85…. we are here to test and see how abilities work in an actual environment. Sigh, waste of a key…

Yeah what Esh said above- just wait on the crashes The patch like 2 weeks ago had servers crashing every few minutes! But it got fixed eventually.

How are you healing 5 mans so far? I was healing on my priest and found that the mouse-over macros seemed to not work on ppl from the European and Korean realms. Any luck with that?

Just wait on the crashes. You weren’t in for the patch before last that had us all unable to find world servers and constantly crashing, LOL.

I will say, since I started leveling some baby characters to test that, the leveling experience is much improved. It flows nicely, no worries about needing quest guides, and the quests, so far, are fun by and large.
