Well, your excitement aside, i think i ahve to disagree with some of your assessment.
I have also been using the Holy spec in Beta instances and i can say that you neglected to address one very important issue.
The mana INefficiency! I have been going OOM in trash pulls! and it is simply because Blizz removed the mana savers and producers from the holy tree. It is not efficient nor effective to be a holy healer anymore. I am running heroics and raids with the Holy and although in theory the new stuff may *sound* cool, it doesnt seem to be working that way.
I am by no means an inexperienced priest healer….and i can say that Blizz hasnt done the spectacular job you think they have. Just wait: you will find what i am saying to be more applicable the more you play with this spec.

the last couple I had them off on purpose just to illustrate the mechanics, not to get caught up in the raw numbers healed since the numbers are going to change.

Of course! Just right now the Beta Disc stuff is… well, lackluster and really boring/bad. I’ve yet to come across another priest as Disc on beta…. the Tree just needs it’s pass and some buffage; right now its far too weak.
