Regardless of it’s true or not if it’s perceived to be true then yes, priest will have a harder time raiding at the moment. Of course this is gonna seem biased but as I’m looking for a new guild I’m noticing that a lot (not all, but a lot) of guilds are asking for any healer but a priest.

Derevka You’re clearly drinking from the same punch as Blizz if you think Priest are ok. I dare say something went wrong in your raid to bump a priest up to number 2 (ie. Different assignments and or other heals died). Also,the official forum is not QQ. It’s where some of us are voicing our opinions about how bad the state of priest currently are right now. Stop in and read/comment. We could use a voice such as yours in the community.

25 man and 10 man feel different at the moment healing as a priest. I raid in both raid sizes as a priest healer and 25s simply feel more balanced. In 10′s i feel like i’m being carried by my healing partner and that im bringing alot less to the raid than other healers (this opinion doesn’t come simply from looking at hps meters).

There are many many raid teams on my realm that simply wont recruit priest healers for there raid groups. I don’t think we are THIS bad, but i think something definitely needs to be looked at.

Simply untrue. Don’t wallow in the Official Forum QQ. You can put out solid numbers along with other classes. For example, on Feng I was #2 on our 25 man with over 51k HPS.

Don’t pay attention to the logs with Broken Monks, as ZSD isn’t diminishing. It’ll be corrected before too long.

Disc is trickier as it has a higher skill cap since it works the best once you know the fight damage patterns and can prep the raid for the big hits better.

Hey Derevka, I noticed in your armory that you are stacking spirit pretty hard. Do you really feel that spirit is better than int at this gear level even with holy only getting 50% regen from spirit? I do find myself running a bit short on mana in raids with 6.2k spirit though.

Congratz on first Realm 90! and First Realm Priest Derevka and Adinne!

As a disc priest coming back since the summer, it all seems new and fun…and makes sense now! SS is…..the best. I am using Halo and that is very fun! as a fresh lvl 90 this wkend, I am still grinding heroics and improving my gear as best as i can until I get raid loot. For now, it’s heroics and LFR next week!
It has been a very fun expansion so far, this is the most fun I have had this whole year!
Farmville is addicting. I will be bringing my other 85s to plant for me as well, lol

I’m having a ton of fun with MoP. I love the feel. Asian theme. Separate and small continent. Linearity of the questing. We managed to do roughly one level per zone and move on. Something about changing scenery when you ding feels great. Although I’m burnt out on dungeons after the gear grind they’re probably the best set Blizzard has released. There aren’t any I dread (like Deadmines) and they manage to be engaging without being hard. As a healer I like mechanics that require moving around a bit instead of staring at grid. I think people are making way too big a fuss over dailies. Don’t do all of them everyday, simple as that.

I did the first four raid bosses last night as disc and wow the fights were great. The first two specifically are perfect for well timed spirit shell spam (overload and epicenter). As far as throughput disc will not do as well as a good monk or shaman but they definitely have their niche. Overall I was happy with my performance and the state of the spec is incredibly fun and the most engaging it’s been… well ever. My one complaint is I almost completely ignored final tier talent spells because mana was simply too tight. Casting cascade on cd is not an option right now. I’ll probably post disc PoV kill videos to howtopriest later tonight.

Ah that bag, I think it’s called something of the vale. I haven’t found any scrolls in it, but maybe it has to be the scribe doing the dailies.

I really hate how little rep the golden lotus dailies give, and the gating for the shadowpan/august celestials dailies.

No… the staff is good, but not 20 days worth of scrolls. Especially since the trinket is BIS the whole tier.
