While yes, on Monday we wiped with only 2.4% left to kill him (remember he dies at 10%)… we went in this reset and cleared all of ICC including Arthas on Tuesday in just over 4 hours. Shame we now have to wait a whole week to start Hard Modes… but we did it! Huzzah! (and wow… we actually took a screen shot that doesn’t look half bad!) Nice work, Dark Nemesis!

Well, Tuesday night we did it. A week too late for server first, but done none the less. Had we swallowed our pride and added some healers, perhaps we would have gotten this 4 weeks ago, but, lesson learned.

After weeks of ‘foolish’ mistakes, my guild finally attained immortality and many of us got Heroic: Glory of the Raider. This was a major achievement for us pre 3.1. Here are a couple of screenshots followed by a couple of tips for Immortal.

Some tips for those healers who are doing it now.
1. Don’t bring too many healers. 6 even 5 is enough. DPS needs to be strong to take the drakes down, so you don’t have to deal with the crazy empowered Flame Breaths for too long.2. Healer CD Rotations need to be proactive. Guardian Spirit and Pain Suppression last 10 and 8 seconds, respectively. If you know a breath is coming… …
